ABOUT MRS. ELIZABETH
Hello! My name is Elizabeth Cudd and I am the owner of Bright Beginnings Daycare. As a mother I know just how important choosing the right provider is and I am hoping to make that search a little bit easier for you.

I am a VA certified elementary teacher with special education endorsements. I have a masters in teaching from Liberty University and a bachelor of arts from Ferrum College. My past positions include: preschool teacher, assistant principal at a preschool, and an elementary special education teacher. I also worked at summer camps before I had my daughter.

Working with and caring for children has always been my passion. It is my goal to instill kindness and compassion in the children I care for as well as a life-long love of learning and exploration.
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
At Bright Beginnings, we will work on independent life skills and some basic PK and K readiness skills. The skills will include letters, fine motor, gross motor, numbers, shapes, colors, and counting. Our curriculum is primarily play based and aims to foster creativity and independence in children.

We will do arts & crafts, movement activities, outdoor play, cooking, free play and much more.
​
By focusing on these areas early, we can give children the tools they need to be a happy and healthy child in and out of the classroom. With a background in education, I am also familiar with what children will be expected to do in preschool as well as kindergarten and will work with your child(ren) on these important skills. Bright Beginnings Daycare is a positive and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

12:00 - 12:30 ~ Lunch
12:45 - 2:45 ~ Nap/Rest time
2:45 - 3:30 ~ Free play
3:30 - 3:45 ~ Snack
3:45 - 4:00 ~ Free play/Dismissal
